Every tool on the site is useful before it asks for anything, and no firm is approached until the council approves the shortlist.

• A matching engine that scores 414 BCFSA-licensed firms on six criteria: size, geography, capacity, portfolio type, reputation, and issue fit. A human curates the final shortlist of two or three, with written reasoning for each.

Seventy pages on the edge, no servers

Strata Match runs entirely on Cloudflare's edge: Astro pages with Vue islands, Workers for the API, D1 for data, R2 for documents. Email goes out over raw Workers sockets with no email vendor in the loop, and the RFP builder generates Word documents at the edge.

Behind the public site sits a full custom admin: directory management, match queue, funnel tracking, and a database-served blog. Contact details are structurally separated from analytics, and every release is gated by Playwright and axe-core accessibility tests.

stratamatch.ca runs the full loop in production: intake, scoring, human curation, and an emailed shortlist within 24 to 48 hours. Councils pay nothing.
